FREE ENTRANCE TO THIS SUNDAYS HOME MATCH AT 12 NOON
This Sunday 24th April at 12 noon Lanzarote play their final home match of the season versus SD Tenisca and entrance for everybody is free of charge.
The Rojillos are seriously threatened with relegation but if they can snatch maximum points from their two remaining games then there is a great chance of survival. The club has decided to not charge and is hoping as many fans as possible will turn up and be that 12th man so the Rojillos can take it to the last day.
The final two matches are against teams in a worse situation than UD Lanzarote. On Sunday the visitors are La Palma side SD Tenisca and they are one position and one point below Lanzarote so defeat for either side will almost certainly mean relegation.
The final match will be a game that was originally postponed due to Covid and a date has yet to be set. The opponents are Gran Canarian side CF Unión Viera and they are second from bottom and are 99% relegated already and will only have pride left to play for. Should Lanzarote win this Sunday then the motivation for that final match would be at boiling point.
