LANZAROTE AT HOME TOMORROW (24th) AT 12 NOON v U.S. YAIZA
THE ISLANDS AUTHORITIES NOW ALLOW ENTRY TO MATCHES WITHOUT ID OR ASSIGNED SEATS BEGINNING TOMORROW FOR THE DERBY MATCH v U.S. YAIZA.
Bit by bit UD Lanzarote are returning to crowd normality. The islands government are not requesting details of each person for trace and tracking purposes which will mean it’s going to be much quicker entry when paying at the gate.
Whilst this is fantastic news, the club was only informed of this on Friday so it is going to be extremely difficult to please both season ticket holders and fans paying at the gate who are at tomorrow’s match versus U.S. Yaiza at 12 noon.
The club is asking for maximum cooperation and patience from everyone attending the game. Over the week many people have been into the club to purchase their tickets for assigned seats and this as well as season ticket holders and Gold Card members seats must be respected.
The great news is that the queuing to pay at the gate will be minimal and there are plenty of seats for everyone. Please be respectful and if you have paid at the gate and have accidentally sat in a seat already paid for, if asked to move please do so. The same applies for those who have pre booked seats but don’t mind sitting somewhere else if someone is in their place.
Unfortunately the food and drinks hut is still not open so please bring water with you. Also required in all public events in Spain are the use of masks including at football matches.
Prior to kick off a minute´s silence will be observed for Rojillo fan John Holsten who passed away on the 8th October.
