SUNDAYS MATCH IS SUSPENDED
Unfortunately tomorrows match scheduled for Sunday 24th March at 12 noon versus UD Las Palmas B has been suspended and will be played at a later date.
Storm DANA has claimed the match and whilst the island in areas has been relatively untouched in other areas there has already been flooding with the majority expected from now until 6pm this evening.
Often people criticize the authorities for cancelling events however it is almost impossible to predict as we are a tiny dot on the map and a change of wind can easily change the course of the storm. Also a big reason why public events are cancelled as well as schools etc is because even when the rain subsides many of the floors are tiles and very often accidents occur with people slipping and falling.
For those of you who have already bought tickets from our shop in Costa Teguise or the Irish Harbour Bar in PDC those tickets can be used at any other league match this season, however naturally we do offer a refund so pop in with your ticket though be prepared to be pitched into buying a 5 Euro raffle tickets for the big draw on May 12th.
Shop opens Monday to Friday 10am to 1pm and also Wednesday 5-7pm. Iris Harbour Bar any night from 8pm.
