UPDATE ON INJURED ISAAC MORALES

Midfielder Isaac Morales suffered an injury to his knee on the opening match of the season.

The 21-year-old had to wait until swelling receded to know the full extent of his injury. Unfortunately, it wasn’t good news.

The UD Lanzarote player has been diagnosed with a fracture of the cruciate ligament and the external meniscus of the right knee whilst also suffering a sprained internal ligament.

He is due surgery immediately and it does seem that the hugely promising midfielder will be spending the majority of the season recuperating. From all involved at the club we wish Isaac a speedy and healthy recovery.
