LANZAROTE AWAY IN TENERIFE THIS SATURDAY 10th Jan

The Rojillos will fly to Tenerife this Saturday 10th January to play Real Unión de Tenerife at the earlier kick off time of 10.30am.

This is the first of 3 consecutive away matches for Lanzarote and they will definitely be looking to improve on their dismal away form.

The 5 points the Rojillos have gathered in their 6 away matches is nowhere near good enough to claim that one and only automatic promotion place.

The Tenerife side are in 12th spot and only 5 points from the relegation positions but they have only been beaten once at home this season in their 8 matches played.

Lanzarote will have new signing Blas Álvarez available for selection for Saturday’s match. The tall 29-year-old defensive midfielder can also slip into the left side of the centre of defence.

The only player to have left the club is defender Mario Román. The 27-year-old mutually agreed with the club to terminate his contract. On behalf of everyone involved with the club we wish Mario the very best for the future.
