CHANGE OF DATE FOR LANZAROTE´S NEXT HOME MATCH
Lanzarote´s next home game has been confirmed for Wednesday 13th October at 8pm versus CD Atlético Paso. Initially this match was scheduled for the day before at noon but due to flight changes because of the volcanic eruptions in La Palma both teams agreed to change to this date.
The La Palma side will have no choice but to spend the night in Lanzarote and this would not have been achieved if it wasn’t for the generosity of the UD Lanzarote President Juan Carlos Albuixech who is also CEO (Chief Executive Officer) for The Sands Beach Hotel in Costa Teguise. He has kindly offered to cover all costs for CD Atlético Paso squad and backroom staff to stay at his hotel.
It’s a busy week ahead for the Rojillos as they head to Tenerife on Saturday 9th to face CD Marino then it’s the midweek match at home versus CD Atlético Paso on the 13th then finally it’s another away trip on Sunday 17th against CD Tenerife B.
The club apologises for any inconvenience caused by the change of date but I am sure that you are all aware that we must help our neighbours in La Palma and this is the least the club could do.
Tickets for this match as well as season tickets are available from the club Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm and also the evenings of Monday, Wednesday and Thursday between 6pm to 8pm. If you are buying tickets from the club or on match day please bring ID with you (passport or driving licence, a copy is ok).
