The Rojillos stormed into a three-goal lead within the opening half hour with goals from Nami, Gopar and an own goal which killed off the match.
The Gran Canarian side fought back in the second half but were met with an organized Lanzarote defence and it looked as though the game was heading for a convincing three nil win.
In the 90th minute Lanzarote’s defence switched off momentarily and allowed the visitors to score from a free header from six yards.
This gave the visitors a second wind but there was never any hope of overturning the score.
Nami and Gopar with the goals with the other being an own goal.
Lanzarote move up one place to 9th and have closed the gap to a playoff finish to 5 points.
Lanzarote´s next match is away on the 11th April in Fuerteventura to play relegation threatened CD Herbania at 4pm.
