LANZAROTE AWAY IN LA PALMA THIS SUNDAY 1st Feb

The Rojillos will take the two flights to La Palma to play rivals CD Mensajero this Sunday 1st February at 12.30pm.

There are just three points between 3rd spot and where CD Mensajero are in 8th position.

Lanzarote are in fourth and are just two points ahead of Sunday’s rivals but trail leaders CD Tenerife C by six points.

Only one team is guaranteed automatic promotion but that team wont be the league leaders CD Tenerife C as their B team are in the league above. This means if CD Tenerife C or UD Las Palmas C finished top, the team that comes directly below them would be promoted as well as win a Copa Del Rey spot for next season.

Every year CD Mensajero are always challenging at the top of the table come May and have been promoted in recent years. Their club demand as does Lanzarote at the very minimum a playoff finish so dropping points to direct rivals is unthinkable.
