The Rojillos keep up the pressure on leaders CD Átletico Paso with a convincing win and move two points from top spot with a game in hand.

The match was delayed 15 minutes because of an illness with a man in the crowd however after being taken to hospital he was discarged a few hours later and returned home.

Around 2000 people were there for the derby match.

The opening 35 minutes was played at a low tempo but the game really came to life when Rojillos striker Moha was brought down with just the keeper to beat. Surprisingly the officials only showed the offender a yellow card.

Five minutes later and Moha shrugged off his marker and headed his side in front from 8 yards.

Lanzarote looked more comfortable in the second half and on the hour mark Moha turned his defender inside out and was brought down for a penalty.

The defender received his second yellow card and Moha stuck away the penalty with ease to give his side a 2-0 lead.

In added on time strike partner Nami completed the scoring with his 7th goal of the season.

Striker Nami with a finish that oozed with confidence.

The next two weeks is a real test for the Rojillos as they are away for three consecutive matches. First up is Real Unión Tenerife Saturday 10th January at 10.30am.
