LANZAROTE AT HOME THIS SUNDAY (5th Oct) AT 12.30pm
The Rojillos are at home (Ciudad Deportiva Arrecife) this Sunday 5th October at 12.30pm versus CD Marino.
Doors will open at 11.30am. Pay on the door but match tickets will also be available from our merchandise shop in Costa Teguise at CC Nautical, Local 25, open Monday to Friday 10am to 1pm and also Wednesdays 5-7pm. Adults 10 Euros, Pensioners 8 Euros and all children 15 years or under are admitted free of charge (discounts for residents with I.D.) Refreshments and club merchandise available inside the stadium on match day.
The side from the south of Tenerife have won two and lost two so far and are in 8th spot. Sunday will see a return to Lanzarote for Ex Rojillo Álvaro Iglesias who now plays for CD Marino. the likeable striker has already scored in Lanzarote this season when his side beat San Bartolomé CF 2-3.
Lanzarote have looked good this season particularly when on the attack and are the league´s leading scorers. Of their four matches played they have won three and lost the other and sit in third spot trailing the league leaders UD San Fernando by one point.
On Sunday prior to kick off the club will present to their fans the new addition to the club: UD Lanzarote Walking Football team (Fútbol Caminando).
The club will also be selling the Bono Rojillo which is a card that costs 20 Euros and this will put you in a draw every 15 days throughout the season with plenty of prizes to be won. I will write a separate post with more info but it’s a great way to support the club.
