LANZAROTE AT HOME THIS SUNDAY (4th Feb) at 12 NOON
This Sunday 4th February Lanzarote will be at home at 12 noon versus 14th placed side UD Gran Tarajal. Pay at the gate and doors open at 11am. Refreshments and merchandise available inside the stadium on match day.
To try and avoid any queues on match day, tickets are available from our shop in Costa Teguise at CC Nautical, Local 25 (open Mon-Fri 10am to 1pm and also Wednesdays 5-7pm).
The Fuerteventura side are very unpredictable. They began the season with just three points taken in their opening 7 matches then went 4 games unbeaten. Last week they held out league leaders CD Tenerife B until the 84th minute but lost 0-1 and are now just one place and three points off the relegation positions.
Lanzarote have been on the road in their last two outings and collected four points which leaves them in third spot equal on points with UD Las Palmas B and Yaiza all of whom trail top of the table CD Tenerife B by four points.
UD Las Palmas B are home to Yaiza so points will be dropped by one or either of those whilst other local side CF San Bartolomé travel and have a daunting task trying to get something from CD Tenerife B. The Rojillos will have no other thoughts other than to compound the misery of their opponents and try and claw back points on the leaders.
