LANZAROTE AWAY IN TENERIFE TOMORROW (Saturday 25th)

The Rojillos travel to Tenerife tomorrow and face 8th placed side CD Santa Úrsula at 4.30pm.

Lanzarote are in sixth spot and have been in great form, unbeaten in six games, winning their last three matches and level on points with CD Tenerife B who are in fifth and also occupy the final playoff spot.

The side from the north of Tenerife have won their last two matches including an away victory last week and became the first team this season to beat league leaders CD Mensajero on their own turf. They trail Lanzarote by five points so anything other than a win for Santa Úrsula will effectively end their playoff ambitions.

Recent history between the two sides played in Tenerife certainly doesn’t favour Lanzarote. The Rojillos have failed to win in their previous eight matches and have only scored four goals in all that time. There will be some travelling Rojillo fans and they will be hoping for a drastic change on that poor record.
