The merchandise stall and the refreshment kiosk are back and will definitely be serving soft drinks and cold rolls. The club is trying everything in its power to be allowed to sell beer and hot rolls as does every other club on the island. Please understand this is in the hands of the Cabildo (Island Government) and the club is hoping logic will prevail before our opening home game on the 18th September at 12 noon. The new toilet facilities have finally been completed and are amongst the best facilities that you will see at any stadium.
As ever there are plenty of new faces amidst the old. I have seen all the pre season games and many training sessions, the morale is great and players are looking match fit especially our 35 year old captain Ayoze Pérez who is looking sharper than ever.
This season you will notice that the players have their names printed on the back of their shirts and if you wish to see the names, numbers and age of the current squad click on https://mercancialanzarote.com/squad/ all fixtures for this campaign can be seen on https://mercancialanzarote.com/fixtures/
Home games should always be on a Sunday at 12 noon but because most teams fly into Lanzarote this can be changed at short notice. I will always confirm kick off day and time a few days before the match on Facebook Lanzarote football club and on the homepage of my website www.lanzarotefootball.com
Vamos Sarote!!!
