FELIZ DIA DE LOS REYES (HAPPY KINGS DAY)

Today Spain celebrates Kings Day. Last night the Three Kings visited all the villages on the island in open top cars with an entourage of police cars, ambulances all beeping their horns letting the children know that the Kings are on their way.
For many Spanish children it will be the Kings delivering the presents on their camels rather than Father Christmas with his reindeers. Admittedly a lot of Spanish families have adopted the traditional Christmas Day in order for their child to make use of their presents during the holidays rather than on the 6th Jan when the children return to school in a day or so.
I would like to wish all of you UD Lanzarote supporters a Happy Kings Day and a wonderful New Year. Needless to say that 2020 will be remembered as a catastrophe of a year however I am sure that we have all come out with a few positives (if you look deep enough). Perhaps you may have a better understanding on the different types of gin available or learned a new technique on introducing yourself to people rather than the traditional handshake or kiss.
Lanzarote return to football this Saturday 9th January away in Gran Canaria versus Las Palmas C. This game will be unfortunately played behind closed doors but tomorrow I will write info regarding the club.
FELIZ DÍA DE LOS REYES!
