THE SAN GINÉS TOURNAMENT FRIDAY 19th August at 8.30pm in ARRECIFE
The 53rd annual San Ginés football tournament will take place this Friday 19th August at home in Arrecife at 8.30pm versus CD Atlético Paso from the Segunda RFEF (Fourth Tier).
The visitors are from La Palma and were promoted last season from Lanzarote´s league as Champions. Traditionally the San Ginés tournament is when pre season gets serious so expect the match to be competitive.
CD Atlético Paso were promoted last season and play in one league above Lanzarote.
The entrance is 5 Euros for adults and Pensioners with children under 16 years of age admitted free of charge as normal. The day will begin at 4.30pm with a Ladies Triangular football tournament involving UDG Tenerife B and two local sides, Puerto Del Carmen and CDO Marítima.
The club has been without its refreshment stand for 17 months and Friday will finally see its return. The merchandise stall will not be there, however it will return for the first home league match on the 18th September. Merchandise is available every Sunday at the Teguise market 9.30am to 2pm and also at the shop in Costa Teguise at CC Nautical, Local 25 which is open Monday to Friday 10am to 7pm and also Saturday 10am to 1pm.
