The Rojillos lose to promotion rivals from a penalty awarded in the 12th minute.
Lanzarote came on stronger in the second period but the La Palma side defended well and didn’t let the visitors create many chances.
Atlético Paso move up to third and are now just two points away with three games in hand of automatic promotion.
Lanzarote slip back to 9th spot and even though they are still only three points from the playoffs they have played more games and there are plenty of sides in a better position than they are to clinch that final 5th spot.
Next Sunday 27th February at 12 noon Lanzarote are at home and face another difficult match versus second placed side CD Tenerife B.
