BEACH TRAINING SESSION TUESDAY 10th AUGUST AT 6.45pm PLAYA GRANDE IN PUERTO DEL CARMEN
We are back on the beach! The club has organised its 7th annual training session on the beach in Puerto Del Carmen this Tuesday 10th August at 6.45pm on Playa Grande which is just up from Linekers Bar. (Opposite Murphy’s and O’Brien’s Bar)
Unfortunately last season this event had to be cancelled due to Covid but tomorrow (Tuesday 10th) the full squad, management and directors will be in attendance.
This event was originally created so that youngsters could train alongside the first team and so the club could present UD Lanzarote to the public. Due to restrictions youngsters will not be able to train with the first team however they will be welcome to have photos with the players as long as the public abide with the Covid restrictions.
Come on down and meet and watch the players train, it’s always a fun day and it’s great to return to some normality.
The biggest pre season tournament the San Ginés will take place in Arrecife from the 19th August until the 21st Aug. Local teams U.D. Lanzarote and U.S. Yaiza will be joined by teams from the league above in Segunda B CD Mensajero and UD Tamaraceite. Tickets will be available from the club and from tomorrow you can come in the shop with ID to reserve and pay for tickets. For entrance to all four matches it is 12 Euros. More details of this tournament will be written in a day or so.
