LANZAROTE AT HOME IN ARRECIFE THIS SUNDAY 19th Jan at 1.30pm KICK OFF

LANZAROTE AT HOME IN ARRECIFE THIS SUNDAY 19th Jan at 1.30pm KICK OFF,

What a game we have in store this week. The Rojillos face the league leaders SD Tenisca this Sunday 19th January at the later kick off of 1.30pm, this is so our visitors are able to connect their flights.

The La Palma side are on fire. Last season they survived relegation on the final day beating Yaiza and sending them down instead. This season they began with an opening day 5-0 hammering so who would have predicted that they would now be top of the table.

One of the leagues best players over many years is the Tenisca striker Dani López (photo). The 31 year old striker joined the Rojillos in 2016 but only played a handful of matches as he wished to return to La Palma. Dani is always among the leagues top scorers and this season no one betters his tally of 16 goals to date. This small but deadly striker is among many reasons that his side has won 10 of their last 11 matches.

On the other hand Lanzarote are sitting two points shy of the relegation positions but the attitude in the camp is strong.

The players are hoping that the fans join together in unison and support them to pull off an important moral boosting win.

One thing is absolutely certain and that is the players will be giving 100% commitment so whether its a win, draw or defeat lets give them applause at the end of the match as they will us.

It is a great day of football that lies ahead of us with Lanzarote kicking it off at 1.30pm allowing everyone plenty of time to watch the Liverpool v Man United game at 4.30pm.

VIVA SAROTE!
