LANZAROTE HOME THIS SUNDAY (11th Oct) at 11am
The Rojillos are at home this Sunday 11th October and will kick off at the slightly earlier time of 11am due to flight availability for our visitors UD San Fernando.
Doors will open at 10am. Pay at the gate or if you wish to purchase tickets beforehand and avoid any queues, they are available from our merchandise shop in Costa Teguise at CC Nautical, Local 25 (behind Café Oppa) Monday to Saturday 10am to 1pm and also Wednesdays 5-7pm.
Adults 10 Euros, Pensioners 8 Euros, Children 15 years or under admitted free of charge with an adult (discount for residents). V.I.P. section below Director’s box Adult 15 Euros, Child 10 Euros.
Cash is preferred as it’s quicker, though card accepted. In shop tickets are cash only. Refreshments and club merchandise available inside the stadium on match day.
Lanzarote are on a high after coming from behind in last week’s dramatic 1-2 away win against the league leaders. The Rojillos are still one of only two teams that remain unbeaten but with 3 draws and 1 win they are in 10th spot.
UD San Fernando led by ex Rojillo manager Juan Carlos Socorro will also be full of confidence after a 3-0 home win last week which sent them to top of the table and they lead Lanzarote by 3 points.
REMEMBERING MAIKEL PADRÓN
On Thursday 8th October it will be 8 years since the death of former UD Lanzarote player Maikel Padrón. After a short illness Maikel was taken from us at just 34 years of age. At Sundays match as customary, in the 18th minute (Maikels shirt number) we will hold a minute’s round of applause in the stadium to honour his memory.
In the 18th minute a minutes round of applause will be held honoring Maikel.
V.I.P. SECTION
This season the club has created a V.I.P. section just below the director’s box in section F. Previously this was used for sponsors but with over 80 seats available there was always seats remaining.
The club has decided to keep this area for sponsors but also for any member who has bought a Goldcard, adults 120 Euros, pensioners 100 Euros. There are still limited seats available on match days and tickets can be bought in the shop in Costa Teguise or at the ticket office at the stadium on match day at adults 15 Euros, Child 5 Euros.
Guarantee yourself a great seat in the V.I.P. section, just below the Director´s box.
We do understand that regular season ticket holders had been using this section and I know some are upset however this area was originally for sponsors and it is important for the club to generate income wherever possible.
