LANZAROTE AWAY TODAY IN GRAN CANARIA IN THE CUP

The Rojillos will travel to Gran Canaria today (Tuesday 3rd) to play UD Balos in the 1/4 final of the José Antonio Ruiz Caballero Cup at 6.45pm.

The side from one division below Lanzarote in the Regional Preferente are in 9th position and are just four points adrift of the playoffs.

Lanzarote beat Yaiza in the previous round 2-0 to win the island Championship and this automatically gave them entry to the quarterfinals of this regional cup competition between sides from Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote.

There are four sides remaining in the competition from RFEF 3, three teams are from Regional Preferente and UD Jandia are leaders of the league one division lower. Each of those teams from the lower leagues as usual in Spain have home advantage.

The match is likely to be streamed but it’s likely to have one stream for first half and another for the second half. I will post info on Facebook page, Lanzarote Football Club
