LANZAROTE AWAY IN GRAN CANARIA THIS SUNDAY 14th Dec
The Rojillos will fly to Gran Canaria this Sunday 14th December and travel the short journey south to play UD San Fernando at 12 noon.
Even though Lanzarote are sitting in fourth spot and only trail league leaders CD Átletico Paso by three points every Rojillo supporter is fully aware of how poor their team are performing on the road.
The last two away matches have highlighted this problem where they have been well beaten by two clear goals and offered very little in attacking options. Manager Ángel López needs to find a solution quickly to their travel bug.
UD San Fernando are led by Rojillos manager from last season Juan Carlos Socorro and up until last Sunday were in second spot but defeat away to Arucas CF who had beaten Lanzarote the week prior has dropped them down to sixth place in this very tight league.
Both managers will fully understand the importance of this match as they face a direct rival for promotion to Spain’s fourth tier of football.
The Rojillos will definitely be looking to improve on last seasons matches versus UD San Fernando as the Gran Canarian side took all six points.
