THE TINAJO TOURNAMENT 21-23 Aug

The “Juan Morales Cáceres” tournament begins this Thursday 21st August until Saturday 23rd Aug at the stadium in Tinajo.

This year the four teams competing are: CD Tinajo, UD Lanzarote, San Bartolomé CF and U.S. Yaiza.

The schedule is:

Thurs 21st: CD Tinajo v Lanzarote at 8.30pm

Fri 22nd: San Bartolomé CF v U.S Yaiza at 8.30pm

Sat 23rd Third v Fourth place final at 6pm

Sat 23rd Gran Final at 9pm

Entrance is 5 Euros (not sure what age children are free to but usually its 15 years and under),refreshments are available at the stadium. Do take a warm top as it can be quite cold in Tinajo once the sun has set.

The San Ginés tournament will follow this and is organised by the Arrecife Ayuntamiento and will be held at our home stadium Ciudad Deportiva in Arrecife between 27-29 August.

The four men’s teams competing are: UD Lanzarote, CD Tenerife B, Xerez CD and UD San Sebastián de los Reyes. The schedule will be announced shortly but the semi finals are likely to be on the evening of Wed 27th and the third and fourth place and also the Gran Final will be on Fri 29th.

A Triangular ladies tournament will also be featured in the San Ginés with CD Tinajo, Inter Playa Honda and Orientation Maritima all competing in the. This is likely to be played in one evening on Thursday 28th.
