LANZAROTE AT HOME (Tías) THIS SUNDAY 20th OCT at 12 NOON
Lanzarote are at their temporary home in Tías this Sunday 20th October at 12 noon versus 8th placed side CF P.P. San Mateo. Doors open at 11am. Pay on the gate. Adults 10 Euros, Pensioners 8 Euros, children 15 years or under are admitted free of charge (discounts to residents with ID card).
The Gran Canarian side are just one position below 7th placed Lanzarote and they either win or lose as in their six matches played they have not drawn a game having won three games and lost three whilst scoring 10 goals and conceding 10.
The Rojillos have painful memories of their last visit when they deservedly beat Lanzarote 0-1 back in May to knock the Rojillos out of the playoffs 2-1 on aggregate.
Lanzarote suffered their first defeat of the season last Saturday and in their last four games have only taken three points which has seen them slip to 7th spot, one point outside of the playoffs and six points off league leaders CD Marino. Only six matches have been played so far this season but even at such an early stage Lanzarote cannot afford to slip further.
UD Lanzarote will be playing in their pink strip this Sunday in honour of the fight against breast cancer.
Match tickets can be bought prior in our shop in Costa Teguise at CC Nautical, Local 25 (behind Café Oppa) open Monday to Friday 10am to 1pm and also Wednesdays 5-7pm. Tickets can also be bought on the gate but best to have done that by 11.30am to avoid queues and with cash is quicker.
