LANZAROTE AT HOME THIS SUNDAY 21st Apr at 12.30pm
The Rojillos play 11th placed side CD Marino at home this Sunday 21st April at 12.30pm kick off. Doors open at 11.30am, refreshments and merchandise are available inside the stadium on match day.
If you wish to buy match tickets and avoid any queues on match day they are available from our merchandise shop in Costa Teguise at CC Nautical, Local 25 (open Mon-Fri 10am to 1pm and also Wednesday 5-7pm). If unable to get to the shop you can easily pay on the door but arrive before 12. It helps by paying with cash rather than card.
Our Tenerife opposition had an extremely difficult start to the season and on the 3rd December hit an all time low when Lanzarote thrashed them 2-7 and they were deep in the relegation zone.
This proved to be a wakeup call because since then their form has dramatically improved and they have moved up to just under mid table safety.
Lanzarote are in buoyant mood following their superb display last night beating second placed UD Las Palmas B 1-0 and will be determined to keep their title ambitions alive. Lanzarote are in fourth spot and are five points adrift of league leaders CD Tenerife B with five matches remaining.
There were a few casualties after last night’s match but it’s too early to see who will be out though centre back Chucky Pierce looks certain to miss this game, however midfielder Javi Martín should be available.
Returning to Arrecife will be ex Rojillo Rodrigo who was with Lanzarote last season but now plays for CD Marino.
