Even though on another day this would be a good away draw against a side sixth in the league table but a point today is not enough.

Lanzarote lose ground on the top sides as all three won leaving the Rojillos eight points adrift of league leaders CD Tenerife B though with a game in hand.

The Rojillos went a goal down in the 82nd minute but a León Gómez penalty six minutes later revived hope however Lanzarote needed a winner but it was not to be.

This Wednesday 17th April at 8pm Lanzarote are at home against second placed UD Las Palmas B and anything but a win will extinguish any possible hopes of automatic promotion.
