LANZAROTE HOME THIS SUNDAY (3rd March at 12 noon) versus league leaders CD Tenerife B

Lanzarote are at home this Sunday 3rd March at 12 noon versus the league leaders CD Tenerife B. Pay at the gate and doors open at 11am. Refreshments and merchandise are available inside the stadium on match day.

To try and avoid queues on match day, tickets are available from our merchandise shop in Costa Teguise at CC Nautical, Local 25 (open Mon-Fri 10am to 1pm and also Wednesdays 5-7pm).

What a game we have in store this Sunday. Both sides have only lost the once this season and the Rojillos have a fantastic opportunity to claw back some of the four point gap at the top.

Lanzarote drew 1-1 away last week against a rejuvenated UD Ibarra side. In normal circumstances this would be deemed as a decent result but with both Tenerife and Yaiza in incredible form dropping two points has been damaging and needs repairing.

CD Tenerife B drew at home two weeks ago against UD Ibarra but then you have to go back to last year before they dropped any other points. They have had seven wins including last week when they thrashed CD Unión Puerto 6-1 and on top of that they have only conceded 12 goals in their 22 matches played.

We should see an old face this Sunday as Ex Rojillo Fabricio returns for his first time since leaving the club last summer, the Brazilian is now enjoying a splendid season with Tenerife and he will be fired up for this match as will a further 21 players, subs, management and fans.
