The Rojillos relinquish their first half lead as the Tenerife side deservedly travel home with a point.

Lanzarote had a couple of occasions to extend their one goal advantage but a mixture of good defending and poor finishing led to the Rojillos getting nervous.

Santa Úrsula persevered and had a great chance to level midway through the second half when a header hit the post and away to safety.

The visitors finally got their reward in the 77th minute when a powerful strike from the edge of the box by Jorge left Rojillos keeper Alejandro with no chance to level at 1-1.

It wasn’t a bad performance from Lanzarote but it did lack desire. It was only in the final five minutes that they mounted pressure on the Tenerife defence.
