WELCOME HOME DANI GONZÁLEZ
The club has made some great signings for the forthcoming season and securing the services of Dani González as the 15th player to the squad is as important as any of those signings.
Local lad Dani played for UD Lanzarote in the 2020/21 campaign and the club tried all they could to secure him for the following campaign, unfortunately the lure of playing football in a higher category (Segunda B) and studies sent the central midfielder to Madrid to play for AD Unión Adarve.
The 23 year old is an exceptionally talented player and is a hugely popular person amongst his team mates. Because of the pandemic and supporters not being able to watch the matches during 2020/21 a lot of fans won’t know much about Dani, however the club and those supporters who do know the talents of Dani are absolutely delighted that he will be wearing the red and blue of UD Lanzarote this season.
Dani will be joining fellow new signings Luciano Pierce “Chucky”, Ale Fuentes, Alex Cruz, the Joni Tejera, Guize Medina and Santiago Rosa. He will also join these players who have renewed their contracts Gonzalo Di Renzo, Adrián Machín, Ruymán Fernández, Raúl Fernández, Alejandro Martín, Javi Martín, Ismael Traore and Ayoze Pérez.
