A dynamic first half from the Rojillos gave them their second consecutive home win against one of the favourites to win the league.
Winger Nadjib (photo) gave Lanzarote a comfortable halftime lead with goals in the 32nd and 40th minute.
The La Palma side looked dangerous in the second period but it was Lanzarote’s captain Raúl that gave his side that all important third goal in the 53rd minute.
The visitors hit back from the penalty spot ten minutes later to make it 3-1 but substitute and Lanzarote youngster eased any worries with his first goal for the Rojillos in the 89th minute.
Next Sunday 28th September Lanzarote travel to La Palma once again to meet CD Atlético Paso at 1pm.
