Lanzarote came from behind in a frustrating encounter and deservedly ran out 2-1 winners.
The Rojillos trailed 0-1 at the break through a rare attack from the Tenerife side in the 32nd minute.
Adrián Machín and Raúl with two goals in two minutes to turn the game around.
Seconds into the second half and winger Nadjib hit a shot that thundered off the underside of the crossbar and away to safety.
The Tenerife side were trying to slow the game down on every opportunity with players under 23 years of age feigning cramp as early as the 50th minute. The ref has no choice but to stop the game if a player goes down.
Hopefully those in charge of the rules will allow the officials to continue play in the near future.
The Rojillos continued to attack and with the arrival of Loukou, Traoré and Junior things began to open up.
In the 78th minute it was Adrián Machín that levelled matters and just two minutes later captain Raúl bagged his side all three points delighting the thousand or so fans.
Next week Lanzarote travel to La Palma and face SD Tenisca at 1pm.
