TINAJO TOURNAMENT FINAL (Lanzarote 2 San Bartolomé CF 1)

The Rojillos come from behind to win their second tournament in succession.

San Bartolomé had a dream start with a super goal inside the first minute.

Lanzarote dominated most of the first half but couldn’t find a way through and went into the break trailing 0-1.

Early in the second half Adrián Machín levelled matters and a couple of minutes later Lanzarote were unlucky not to go in front when new signing Pablo struck the woodwork.

In the 82nd minute Tavio won a penalty and also fired it home to win the Juan Morales Caceres trophy. CD Tinajo beat U.S. Yaiza 3-2 in the Third place final.

There seemed to be some confusion about which team wore the away kit as both teams brought their home kit which conflicted. This caused a 15 minute delay until hosts Tinajo lent Lanzarote their white training kit.

The next match will be the San Ginés tournament beginning on Wednesday 27-29th August. Details will follow.
