THE LATEST ON SIGNINGS AND GENERAL INFO

This is the third update of information on signings and general info to the upcoming season. Every couple of weeks I will update the latest news but those of you who wish to see the clubs most up-to-date info then look at the clubs Facebook page UD Lanzarote.

LOUKOU SUCCES (new signing)

The club welcomes their third new signing 23 year old Loukou. The 23 year old has dual nationality, Ivory Coast and Spanish and spent the second half of last season with CF San Bartolomé. He has the ability to play in various positions including midfield and wing back and is a special talent with bags of confidence.

ISAAC MORALES (renewed)

Last season the 20 year old defensive midfielder player played mostly in between the youth team and the B side. Isaac made his first team debut last December in a 2-0 home win. Since then he went on to make eight further appearances all from the bench but in a short space of time the youngster looked very comfortable in the first team.

NADJIB MENGOUD

Nadjib loves nothing more than running at defences. Not only does he create goals but last season he scored on five occasions in his 30 appearance of which only 17 were as a starter. The local lad will begin his second season with the club and at 29 years of age he is approaching his peak. Nadjib is a great person to have as he always has a positive attitude and it is extremely rare not to see him with a smile on his face.

DANILO GONZÁLEZ (Junior) (new signing)

Last season 20 year old Junior spent all pre season with the Rojillos but eventually signed for fellow local club CD Tahiche that played in one league lower. Even though his side was relegated the strong powerful centre forward was the shining light in the team becoming one of the league’s top scorers with 16 goals in his 34 appearances. Junior is the clubs fourth new signing.

MOUHAMED NIDIAYE SAA (Moha) (new signing)

22 year old Moha is the clubs fifth new signing of the season. The six foot two inch (188cm) striker is a serious threat with his aerial dominance but also possesses the intelligence of holding up the ball in order to bring his team mates into play. Moha becomes the clubs fifth new signing.

All of these players will join fellow new signings Miguel Gopar and central defender Mario Román as well as players that have renewed their contracts Raúl Fernández, Ale Fuentes, Alejandro Martín, Ruymán Fernández, Alex Cruz, Javi Martín, Dani González.
