Despite a much improved second half Lanzarote failed to get that second goal to keep alive their playoff hopes.

The La Palma team were dominated in the first half and went into the break 2-0 up.

Lanzarote pressured the home side in the second half and pulled a goal back to make it 2-1 with 20 minutes remaining.

The Rojillos fought till the end but just couldn’t find that second goal.

Next Sunday Lanzarote play their final match of the season at home versus CD Marino which is scheduled for 11am but please check.
