Things go from bad to worse for Lanzarote as they lose in Gran Canaria whilst the hugely in form CD Mensajero beat second placed UD Tamaraceite 0-1 and take the Rojillos playoff position.

Iván Hujo gave Lanzarote the lead but the home side hit back three minutes later and got the winner in the 78th minute and add a third in added on time.

To add to the misery of falling out of the playoff positions centre back Raúl received a straight red card late on.

Next Sunday (9th March) Lanzarote are at their temporary home in Tías at 12.30pm versus UD Los Llanos de Aridane.

The La Palma side are deep in relegation trouble but are making a fight of it beating playoff contenders Arucas CF 4-0 yesterday.
