TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR DERBY MATCH THIS SATURDAY AT SAN BARTOLOMÉ

The Rojillos are away this Saturday 1st February at fellow local club San Bartolomé CF at 6pm kick off.

San Bartolomé are not wrong in expecting a big crowd for this Saturday evening and have made tickets available early for this highly anticipated clash. Tickets will be available only from their ticket booth at the stadium in San Bartolomé from this evening (Tuesday) until Friday from 6-8pm https://www.google.es/maps/place/Campo+de+f%C3%BAtbol+San+Bartolom%C3%A9

Adult tickets are 6 Euros, children under 18 years of age will be admitted free of charge but they must pick up a ticket from the ticket booth on the evening of the match. Doors will open at 4.30pm. Hot rolls and drinks will be available and do remember to wrap up warm otherwise you will regret it.

I will try and go to San Bartolomé tonight to buy tickets if anyone is interested let me know but they will have to be collected from our shop in Costa Teguise at CC Nautical, Local 25 (behind Café Oppa) open Monday to Friday 10am to 1pm and also Wednesdays 5-7pm.

Both teams are desperate for points for very different reasons. Lanzarote are in third place, six points off the league leaders UD Las Palmas B who occupy that only automatic promotion spot. San Bartolomé are 13th in the table and are just three points off the relegation positions.

The Rojillos thrashed CD Santa Úrsula last Sunday 7-0 which makes them the league´s second highest scorers whilst only three other teams have a better defensive record than San Bartolomé.

In the last five outings San Bartolomé have won three and lost two and this includes a fantastic win at their last home match versus second placed UD San Fernando 1-0. They will not lack passion.

Last season Lanzarote won this same fixture 2-1 with Alex Cruz scoring an outrageous goal from the halfway line. The two teams met earlier this season in Tías and the game ended goalless.
