CENTRAL DEFENDER SERGIO BEBERIDE JOINS THE CLUB AND KEEPER ALEJANDRO IS ON THE MEND

The club welcomes 19 year old left sided centre back Sergio García Beberide.

The teenager from Asturias maybe young in years but he is huge in stature with a strong physique and is over 6 foot 7 inches tall (2.01 m).

The centre back who can also play as wing back has arrived from CD Praviano that play in the same category as Lanzarote in the Asturias. He is excited about joining the club and if his ability is as good as his spoken English we could have someone special.

Sergio had his first training session with his new teammates yesterday evening and will be available to manager Juan Carlos Socorro for selection in this Sundays (26th) home match at 12 noon versus CD Santa Úrsula.

Keeper Alejandro is making terrific progress following his ligament injury he picked up early December. He is as jovial as ever and could be back to team training in a month or so.

22 year old Javi Mayor is also making progress after suffering a broken leg also in early December but is still some way off before he can return to training.
