Lanzarote will be playing at their temporary home in Tías this Sunday 1st December at 12 noon versus the league leaders UD San Fernando. Doors open at 11am. Pay at the gate. What a game this promises to be. The Gran Canarian side are one of the teams expected to be competing at the top of the table however they didn’t have the greatest start to the season with three draws in their opening three matches. Since then they have gone from strength to strength and after last weekend’s 6-1 win, their fourth consecutive victory they went top of the table.
The Rojillos have also had inconsistencies this season. Only a month ago Lanzarote were a distant seven points from the top but after five wins on the bounce they will go into Sundays match into third spot trailing the league leaders by a single point.
Lanzarote could go top on Sunday but in the same breath they could also go down to fourth with just two points separating the top four clubs.
