The Rojillos took the lead in the 75th minute with an incredible goal from distance by Nadjib but were down to 10 men moments later after centre back Javi Mayor picked up his second yellow card.
It had looked as though the Rojillos were going to hold on for a precious three points but the Gran Canarian side fought back with a 95th minute goal to level the match.
In the 98th minute the home side found a winner and Lanzarote have to accept their first defeat of the season.
The Rojillos remain in sixth spot but by the end of the weekend they will most certainly drop a place or two.
Next Sunday 20th October at 12 noon Lanzarote will be at their temporary home in Tías to play 7th placed side CF San Mateo.
