REMINDER AND REMEMBERING MAIKEL PADRÓN
Lanzarote face one of the teams that are favourites to win the league UD Las Palmas B tomorrow (Sunday 6th Oct) at 12 noon at our temporary home in Tías. Doors open at 11am and pay at the gate.
Almost six years ago (8th Oct) one of UD Lanzarote´s favourite sons 34 year old Maikel Padrón died after a sudden illness leaving behind his wife and two children along with his parents. In what has become tradition, in the 18th minute (Maikels squad number) of Sundays match please rise and applaud for one minute in remembrance of Maikel. We know that this gesture is appreciated by Maikels family.
