THE 10th ANNUAL OPEN BEACH TRAINING SESSION WILL TAKE PLACE AT 6.30pm ON THURSDAY 22nd AUGUST AT PLAYA GRANDE BEACH IN PUERTO DEL CARMEN (opposite The Sea View Bar)
On Thursday 22nd August the club welcomes its fans, friends and any youngster who wishes to watch or join in on the beach training session with UD Lanzarote´s first team squad.
At 6.30pm (opposite The Sea View Bar) boys and girls are more than welcome to join the players on a gentle 15-20 minute jog along the promenade or beach.
Those children who find the journey a bit too much can just wait a little until the players return on the same route.
Photos of the players with children and fans will then take place on the beach before the players begin training. The session usually ends with a kickabout between the children and the players.
This is the 10th Annual Open Beach Training Session and as always everyone is welcome, so bring your family and friends in what is always a great fun day that is thoroughly enjoyed by everyone involved, including the players, management and directors. A special thanks to our sponsors Grupo Cepal for offering to make the bocadillos (rolls) and supply soft drinks to the players after the training.
If you wish to come down from Costa Teguise catch the number 3 bus (goes back and forth every 20 minutes and journey is around 40 minutes) and get off at the Apartamentos Caletón Blanco bus stop near the Fariones hotel. Walk back up along the promenade for 5 minutes and it will all take place just up and opposite from the Sea View Bar.
