LANZAROTE AT HOME THIS SUNDAY 7th Apr at 12 NOON

The Rojillos are at home this Sunday 7th April at 12 noon versus 8th placed side Arucas CF. Doors open at 11am and refreshments and merchandise are available inside the stadium on match day.

To try and avoid queues on match day, tickets are available from our merchandise shop in Costa Teguise at CC Nautical, Local 25 (open Mon-Fri 10am to 1pm and also Wednesday 5-7pm). If unable to go there you can just turn up and pay on the door. Paying in cash is much quicker than paying on card.

The Gran Canarian side´s playoff ambitions have all but evaporated as they are 11 points off the final 5th spot with seven matches remaining, though they will arrive in Lanzarote in reasonably good form having won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five matches. Their last match they scored in the last minute to earn a draw against the league leaders CD Tenerife B.

Lanzarote lost 2-1 away last week which has dented their title ambitions but they are in 4th position and are six points from top spot which is the only automatic promotion position, though they do have a game in hand on the leaders.

Unfortunately Lanzarote will be without midfielder Javi Martín as he picked up a thigh injury in training and will be sidelined for a couple of weeks. Wing back Alex Cruz has had his cartilage operation and is beginning recovery which will be at least another four weeks. Captain Ayoze Pérez should have shrugged off his injury and hopefully will be available for this Sunday.
