The Rojillos remain in fourth spot but keep the pressure on the three teams above them following a goal in each half from Adrián Machín.

Lanzarote took the lead in the 13th minute with Machín firing home from close range.

An injury to centre back Chucky left the Rojillos vulnerable in defence and the Fuerteventura side capitalized on this with a great header in the 63rd minute to level the score at 1-1.

Adrián Machín has been outstanding this year and a text book header from a Santi Rosa corner for the winger restored the Rojillos lead in the 72nd minute.

Lanzarote are level on points with third placed UD Las Palmas B but the top two teams could only draw over the weekend so Lanzarote now trail league leaders CD Tenerife B by five points.

Next Saturday 16th March Lanzarote travel to Gran Canaria to play 8th placed side UD Villa Santa Brígida at a noon kickoff.
