TRAGIC DEATH OF JUNIOR FOOTBALLER

The island has been shocked by the devastating news of the death of 14 year old Ibrahima Cámara who was with local club CD Marítima.

The youngster was hit by a car on Saturday on the main road between Arrecife and San Bartolomé. Emergency services took Ibrahima to the Arrecife hospital Doctor José Molina Orosa but due to the severity of his injuries he passed soon after.

One can only imagine the pain his family, friends and team mates are going through at this moment and behalf of everyone involved with UD Lanzarote we send out our condolences to all who knew the young man.
