The Rojillos drop two points on their search for automatic promotion but it could have been worse had Alex Cruz (photo) had not levelled late on.

The Tenerife side took the lead three minutes into the second half but defender Alex Cruz earned Lanzarote a point with an 83rd minute strike.

Lanzarote remain in second and are one point off league leaders CD Tenerife B that play tomorrow.

Both Yaiza and UD Las Palmas B are playing late this afternoon and will be both looking to narrow that gap at the top.

Lanzarote now have two consecutive home matches to look forward to on the 3rd and 10th March. First up is a real gem. The Rojillos take on league leaders CD Tenerife B on Sunday 3rd March at 12 noon and will try and claw back some of the four point lead that Tenerife have on them.
