The Rojillos go top of the league for Christmas and into the new year following this convincing win.

Lanzarote were 2-0 up within the opening 20 minutes with goals from Fuentes and Di Renzo. The Tenerife pulled a goal back and the teams went into the halftime break with a slender 2-1 lead.

Alex Cruz headed Lanzarote 3-1 up in the 69th minute and León Gómez sealed the win with that all important fourth goal which sends Lanzarote top of the league with goals scored.

Thanks to everyone who donated a toy or money. Loads were collected which will brighten up Christmas Day for many underprivileged children.
