CONGRATULATIONS GONZALO DI RENZO
Lanzarote striker Gonzalo Di Renzo has recently returned from the awards ceremony in Madrid to collect the trophy he has won as last season´s best player in our division.
It is a super achievement for the 27 year old Argentine. This trophy can go alongside his “Fans player of the season” award and also the league´s top scorer (Pichici) with 18 goals (no penalties) both of which he won last season.
Gonzalo joined the club in the January window in 2022 and massively helped the club avoid relegation. He is a true complete player with plenty of assists and his work rate is second to none as the 6 foot 2 inch (187cm) striker defends from the front.
Last Sunday Gonzalo missed last week’s match due to a one game suspension but he is ready for this Sunday 12th Nov at 12 noon and will be looking to add to his six goals he has already scored this season in the eight matches that he has played.
