ORGANIZED TRIP TO FUERTEVENTURA ON SUNDAY 22nd OCTOBER
U.D. Lanzarote have organised an excursion over to Fuerteventura to play CD Unión Puerto on Sunday 22nd October at 12 noon.
The Rojillos have had a very good start to the season but now face two consecutive away matches, the second of which is in Fuerteventura. This will probably be the last trip to Fuerteventura this season as the final away match there falls on Reyes 6th January (Kings Day) so it would be great if we can get a good crowd for this one.
The bus will begin its pick up in Costa Teguise (outside Nazaret Apartments) and leave promptly at 6.30am. We will then go to the stadium in Arrecife and leave at 6.45am followed by the bus-stop at the Biosfera shopping complex in Puerto Del Carmen at 7am on Sunday morning.
The bus will then drive down for the 8am ferry to Playa Blanca. All will rejoin the bus including those from Playa Blanca and we will make the 40 minute bus journey to Puerto Del Rosario.
You will need to pay entry to the game which I believe is around 6 Euros and pay for any refreshments you wish to have.
After the match it will be back on the bus to return on the 4pm ferry.
Cost is 22 Euros for residents and 50 Euros for non residents (more expensive as residents receive subsidy). Its great value for a cracking day out.
To guarantee your seat on the bus you can do this in Costa Teguise, Puerto Del Carmen or Arrecife. For residents you will need a current certificado de viajes and a photocopy of your DNI. For non residents you only need a copy of your passport. Bring your passport to the ferry on the day.
In Costa Teguise you can pay (cash only) at the merchandise shop at CC Nautical, Local 25 (past Decades Bar and behind Café Oppa) open Monday to Friday 10am to 1pm and also on Wednesdays 5-7pm. Latest to pay is Wednesday 7pm.
In Puerto Del Carmen see David at The Irish Harbour Bar in the Old Town (cash only). Only Tuesday and Wednesday morning between 11am to 12 noon.
In Arrecife go to the club and see Davinia at Calle El Isleño 4 in Arrecife (just up from the stadium and left 200m down from Sportsbar). The office is open Monday to Friday 10am to 12 noon and also on Tuesday from 6pm – 8pm. Latest to pay is Thursday at noon.
