NEW SIGNING MATÍAS SOSA
Late Monday evening UD Lanzarote´s most recent signing Matías Sosa arrived on the island and has become the clubs 18th signing of the 2023/24 campaign.
The 22 year old is Argentinean but also is an Italian citizen. The 1.85m (6 foot, 1 inch) centre back is thought to be one of the up and coming young Argentine players. He has come from San Lorenzo and was captain of their B side. Their first team is currently in third position in the Argentine Premier Division.
Both clubs came to an agreement where Matías has signed a five year contract and should he be sold in the future Lanzarote will receive a percentage of the sale.
The 22 year old should be available for the first pre season tournament match which will be held at the football stadium in Puerto Del Carmen this Thursday when UD Lanzarote play CF Puerto Del Carmen 2016 at 8.30pm.
