THE OFFICIAL PRESENTATION OF UD LANZAROTE´S NEW MANAGER LEONEL“PIPA”GANCEDO

On Monday UD Lanzarote officially unveiled their new manager for the 2023/24 season Leonel “Pipa Gancedo and Sporting Director Fabíán Bustos at the home of sponsor Grupo CEPAL in Arrecife.

UD Lanzarote President Juan Carlos Albuixech opened proceedings welcoming the clubs new Mister and Sporting Director as well as thanking sponsors Grupo CEPAL for their support in their recently agreed three year sponsorship deal.

Lanzarote´s new manager Leonel Gancedo began by saying that he has only been on the island for three days and has already seen so much and is amazed by the islands beauty.

The 52 year old Argentine is now living on the island and is looking forward to the season ahead.

The Spanish Football Federation has not released the date when the league will begin but as soon as they do I will post the information. It should be known within two weeks but usually the fixtures aren’t released until mid/late July.
