UD LANZAROTE´S FIXTURES FOR SEASON 2021-22
UD Lanzarote begin their campaign at home on Sunday the 5th September at 12 noon versus CD Unión Puerto. The Fuerteventura side will be tough opponents and Rojillo fans will recognise many familiar faces with Giovanni, Josito and Fran Gil included in their squad as well as ex Rojillo manager Maxi Barrera now in charge of the Puerto Del Rosario club.
Other notable fixtures include a return of the Lanzarote v Yaiza derby match. The first game will be on the 24th October at home and the return match in Yaiza is scheduled for the 5th March 2022. For the full fixture list click on https://mercancialanzarote.com/fixtures/
The league consists of 17 teams with only the league winner receiving automatic promotion though the four sides finishing in the next four positions will compete in the playoffs. Four teams will be automatically relegated though this could increase should any of the Canarian teams in the league above (Segunda B) be relegated.
